Well it had to happen sooner or later and the Gtv stopped on the way home tonight and wouldn't restart.
As the code light wasn't on so I presumed it to be the crank sensor and walked the home for a cuppa, luckily just around the corner. When I returned later on it started straight away and so my record of not being recoved to home in an Alfa still stands after a total of 10 years of ownership.

So how easy is it to change a crank sensor, anybody here done it?

Re: Crank sensor

All sorted now with thanks to Alex, I would never have found the sensor in a month of Sundays, Alex had his knees up on the slam panels and was shoulder deep around the back of the engine. Air hoses and throttle body removed and now cleaned of gunk.
