I made the awful mistake of using the power wash lance on my hood the other day to get some of the green stuff off. I thought it had done a really good job.

Until it dried

I now have zig zag lines all across my hood that I'm struggling to scrub off I'd taken to leaving the hood down all when the weather was good, just to hide it! Now though the weather isn't so good and Dumfries has been taken over by gulls whose main aim is to **** on anything below.

I'm going to refurb my hood soon anyway. I'm getting the Renovo stuff to do it which should sort it. Someone suggested using the wider spray on the power washer to do it again?

It looks bloody silly anyway Any suggestions?

Re: Zig Zag Hood

What are you like???

I would give the lance a twist and have another go on a wider spray but not having a Spider I wouldn't know of any proprietry products that would be suitable. On needle jet that spray is dangerous!

Re: Zig Zag Hood

I used a scrubbing brush. That helped a little I've also invested in Renovo Hood Restorer which I'll apply as soon as it stops raining!
